Competition heats up at 43 North

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A competition to help those with bright ideas make them a reality is heating up in the Queen City.
Part of the Buffalo Billion initiative, 43 North is holding a competition for those with great business ideas. The competition starts with 3,000 contestants, but judges have whittled the contestant pool down to just 110 semi-finalists.
Entrepreneurs are fighting for what’s at stake — $5 million in cash prizes and free incubator space for a year.
