City Honors student dies unexpectedly

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – City Honors principal William Kresse, Ph.D., announced the death of 10th-grader Lamont Yancey, late Saturday evening.
In a statement Kreese wrote, “It is with profound sadness that I write to inform you of the unexpected death on Friday…” Kreese added, “He was well loved by students from many different backgrounds… We will miss him dearly.”
