City apologizes after officer stops man over making eye contact

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton city leaders are apologizing, but standing by their police department after a man claims an officer pulled him over for making eye-contact with him.
At a city commission meeting this week, Dayton City Manager Warren Price said, “We regret, we apologize,” for the lack of clarity for why John Felton was stopped, but he stands by the Dayton Police Department and calls it a lawful traffic stop.
