Cheerios to be given away at 75th anniversary event

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The delightful smell of freshly-made Cheerios has filled downtown Buffalo for three quarters of a century. This is due to the S. Michigan Ave. plant where they’re made — a mainstay of the Queen City.
To celebrate the cereal’s 75th anniversary, Visit Buffalo Niagara will be giving away free miniature boxes of Cheerios in an event sponsored by General Mills.
