Cheektowaga man sentenced to 8 years in prison for weapon possession

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Cheektowaga man will spend nearly a decade behind bars after being convicted of illegally possessing a weapon.
Raekwon Barnes, 23, was sentenced Tuesday to eight years in state prison by State Supreme Court Justice Christopher Burns.
Officers arrested Barnes last April after a parole officer found a loaded weapon in the basement of his home.
