Chautauqua Belle runs ashore

MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – The historic Chautauqua Belle ran ashore late Saturday evening with nearly 70 passengers on board.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s department and multiple fire companies responded to the call.
Sheriff Joseph Gerace told News 4, all passengers were taken to shore by other boats and no injuries were reported.
News 4 is working to learn if the steamship sustained any damage.
