Car sharing network to launch in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fleet of car sharing vehicles will arrive in the Queen City on Thursday.
Officials from the company Zipcar say they’ll meet in the City of Buffalo on Thursday with officials from their partner in Buffalo CarShare to launch their fleet of 15 Zipcar vehicles in the city.
The goal of the company is to provide alternative transportation to those living in urban areas. Those that use the service pay a fee to rent or reserve Zipcar vehicles for periods of time
