Canisius High School celebrates second state football title in three years

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – There was a lot of cheering Tuesday morning in the Kennedy Field House at Canisius High School as the students celebrated a major win for their football team.
On Sunday, the Crusaders won the New York State Catholic High Schools Athletic Association championship at Fordham University in the Bronx in a nail-biter of a game against Cardinal Hayes High School.
