Canalside illuminates holiday display

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — It’s the holiday season at Canalside in Buffalo, and things are about to get very pretty.
Canalside officials have brought in a massive tree to compliment their holiday decorations, and they’ll all be illuminated for the first time just before 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Thousands came out to enjoy the illumination, marking a great increase from five years ago when just over 30 people arrived to watch the tree come alive.
