Canal Fest kicks off on Sunday

TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Canal Fest of the Tonawandas began Sunday and will continue all week.
The week-long festival started with the opening ceremonies on the Renaissance Bridge.
The bridge connects the cities of Tonawanda and North Tonawanda.
Those who go can enjoy food, music and rides along the Erie Canal all week.
This is the 35th year for the event.
