Buffalo’s theater district celebrates 34th “Curtain Up”

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Canes, monocles and white gloves will make their annual reappearance at Buffalo’s theater district Friday night as hundreds celebrate “Curtain Up” for the 34th year.
The theater district lights up each year in September to celebrate the new season, and with that celebration, local businesses are set to benefit. The 600 block of Main Street will come alive when the celebration kicks off at 10 p.m. when theaters let out.
