Buffalo’s Cherry blossoms in bloom

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – In Japanese culture, cherry blossoms are a symbol of spring and a reminder of the beauty of life. For the third year in a row, friends of Buffalo’s cherry trees in Delaware Park are hosting a week long celebration of the colorful buds.
The Japanese Garden reminds Buffalonians of the special relationship between Buffalo and the people of our sister city, Kanazawa, Japan, who donated the trees. The Buffalo Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off on Saturday, April 30th
