Buffalo Police: Weekend shootings likely targeted

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo Police believe two weekend shootings in the Queen City, one of them fatal, were targeted and possibly connected.
The first incident was a drive-by shooting on the city’s east side; it occurred Saturday just after 8 p.m. on LaSalle Avenue.
Neighbors told News 4 it occurred right in the middle of the street. 15-year-old Shaunice Gamblin and 16-year-old Davone Wedlington were both injured. Gamblin was taken to ECMC where she later died.
