Buffalo police investigating man posing as Verizon worker

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo police are investigating at least two instances of a man posing as a utility worker.
According to police, the suspicious man has been pretending to be from Verizon and has asked to be allowed into peoples’ homes for supposed utility purposes.
The incidents happened in the University Heights area within the past few days. No one has been hurt or had anything stolen from them.
