Buffalo man admits guilt in fatal crash from last year

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The man responsible for a deadly crash in Buffalo has pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide.
Last year on August 20, Buffalo resident Jamar Sales, 20, sped through a red light at Masten Ave. and Northampton St., subsequently crashing into the vehicle of 72-year-old Sylvia DeRosas.
DeRosas was killed in the crash.
When sentenced on November 22, Sales could spend up to four years in jail.
