Buffalo gets new superintendent after unanimous vote

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Dr. Kriner Cash will start his four year tenure as Buffalo School Superintendent with the full support of the Buffalo School Board.
Dr. Cash was recommended by New York’s new Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia, who must still approve his certification. That is expected to happen within a week.
Cash’s contract gives him a minimum of $275,000 a year, and a year’s severance if he is terminated without fault. If he is fired “for cause,” h
