Buffalo cell block attendant gets prison time for assault

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Matthew Jaskula, 27, who once worked as a cell block attendant with the Buffalo Police Department, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and three years of supervised release in U.S. District Court.Jaskula was convicted of willfully depriving another of their constitutional rights under color of law resulting in bodily injury.The incident was captured on video inside the city lockup back on May 19, 2016.
