Buffalo announced as 1 of 3 cities to take part in effort to decrease U.S. border wait times

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Congressman Brian Higgins has announced that Buffalo will be one of three cities nationwide to take part in a new initiative to decrease U.S. border wait times.
Higgins says the delays are caused by a lack of annual transponders for truck drivers. The transponders contain information about the crossing vehicle as well as border crossing user fee payment statuses.
