Buffalo Animal Shelter extends holiday hours

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Animal Shelter says they want to see abandoned animals find a home this holiday season and has decided to extended their hours of service.
“Every year during the holidays, we try to increase adoptions and rescues,” said Department of Public Works Commissioner Steven Stepniak. “Generally, this is the biggest time for adoptions. A lot of people want a new animal for the holidays.”
