BPD officers shot at; 3 suspects identified, charged with attempted murder

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A group of suspected home invaders opened fire on police as they ran from the scene of the crime, police said on Monday afternoon.
Officers say the three people attempted a home invasion just before 1:15 p.m. in the first block of Bruce Street, making off with a large amount of money. They were identified by police as Buffalo residents Gregory Bell, 29, and Martin Calloway, 36, and 26-year-old Amherst resident Rickie Robinson.
