BPD cell block attendant charged with beating inmate

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A cell block attendant working for the Buffalo Police Department faces up to 10 years behind bars and a hefty fine if found guilty of beating inmates.
Federal officials announced Buffalo Police reported the case to the Department of Justice as soon as they learned about the crime. Buffalo Police promptly removed Matthew Jaskula, 26, from his position as a lead attendant at Buffalo’s holding facility.
According to court documents, Jaskula is accused of
