Body, grow operation discovered in north Buffalo home

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo Police, Buffalo Fire, and HazMat crews showed up to a home on Carmel Road in North Buffalo after a body was discovered Friday morning.
Police responded to a “check for welfare call” shortly after 9:15 a.m.
The person found was a 40-year-old male, who has not yet been identified. Police said he had another address in Tonawanda.
