Bobcat shot and killed after attacking 2 people near Albany

NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Two people were attacked by a bobcat at a residence off Rock Hill Road in New Scotland.
According to the Albany County Sheriff, the animal was shot and killed after injuring its two victims. Officials say it’s common to see bobcats in the New Scotland area near Albany, but not common for attacks to take place.
Investigation is continuing as the two victims recover.
