Blasdell police investigating deadly train accident

BLASDELL, N.Y. (WIVB) — We’re working to learn what led to a deadly accident along the Lake Avenue train tracks.
CSX representatives tell News 4 a woman was hit while walking around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
The train was travelling from Willard, Ohio to Syracuse. That train had two locomotives and 87 freight cars. Of those freight cars, 70 of them were loaded with things like flour, corn syrup, telephone poles and steel beams.
None of the crew members on board were hurt in the crash.
