Attempted kidnapping good reminder to teach kids about stranger danger

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Springs Police are searching for a suspect Friday after a man tried to kidnap a young boy.
They say a concerned parent called them around 5:45 yesterday, after their 8-year-old son told them a man was following him in a large, white van.
Police say the man continuously tried to convince the boy to come with him near the intersection of Warwick Lane and Brady Boulevard, but the boy said he isn’t allowed to talk to strangers and kept walking
