Arson strikes vacant East Side house Thursday morning

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Firefighters responded to what they call a “stubborn” arson at a vacant house on Buffalo’s East Side early Thursday morning.
The fire was reported on Wilson Street near Sycamore and Genesee Streets. The house was fully engulfed in flames by the time fire officials arrived at the scene.
Officials say the blaze started in the rear of the house, and was clearly intentionally set.
