Ambulance collides with backhoe, killing ambulance crewman

CHURCHVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — An ambulance crewman tragically died in an accident while rushing to the scene of a medical emergency.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies say the ambulance slammed into the rear end of a slow-moving backhoe while rushing to a call Bovee Road. Of the three people aboard the ambulance, two people required medical attention for minor injuries, but a passenger who say in the passenger side seat died from injuries sustained in the crash.
