Albright-Knox pushes to receive shirt donations for public art project

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A renowned art gallery is asking for donations, but they’re not looking for your money — the Albright-Knox wants your old shirts.
The push for 3,000 shirt donations is spurred along by a public art project with the goal of promoting togetherness by a popular Finnish artist. The art, created by Kaarina Kaikkonen will be installed at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, a location where countless people will receive her message.
