Advocates reflect on a year filled with changes as WNY Pride Week kicks off

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — It has been nearly one year since the Supreme Court ruled marriage equality the law of the land. Since celebrations rang out across the country, including in Buffalo, many things have changed for the LGTBQ community.
Tuesday afternoon, as Pride Week began, members of that community took time to look back at what has happened over the past year. The Supreme Court ruling was action on the federal level; statewide, Governor Cuomo created an executive order protecti
