Accident on North Grand Island Bridge causes major delays

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — An accident on the North Grand Island Bridge was causing delays Friday morning.
The scene, on the southbound lanes, appears to have involved a car underneath a pickup truck.
The I-190 southbound was closed off beyond the Buffalo Ave. exit due to the accident.
Traffic flow started to improve once the accident scene was cleared up around 8:45 a.m.
