8-year-old shot last month “making slow progress;” condition upgraded

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The 8-year-old who was shot on S. Division St. last month is getting better, according to representatives of Kaleida Health.
Donnel Bibbes was accidentally struck by gunfire in a targeted shooting on August 25.
When he was taken to Women & Children’s Hospital, he was in critical condition. By the next morning, Bibbes had undergone two surgeries.
