8-year-old boy dies after being struck by a vehicle in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 8-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle, while he was riding his bicycle on Buffalo’s east side.
The Buffalo Fire Department responded to the scene on Hewitt Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The boy was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where he died, reportedly from head trauma.
The driver of the car is not facing charges at this time.
