8 die from flu in Monroe County

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — The flu continues to take a deadly toll in the Rochester area.
Eight people in Monroe County have died from the flu this season. Five of those deaths were reported this past week.
Health officials say all of the victims were age 50 or older.
Flu cases across the state have jumped 28 percent since last week.
