2 students arrested after school-related threats in Chautauqua County

MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two students were arrested after New York state police started investigating a “possible threat of school violence” in Chautauqua County.
Shortly after 9 a.m., state police responded to Chautauqua Lake School after a threat of violence was reported to school staff. Following this, a lockout was initiated.
State police said one of the threats is related to the Ashville BOCES. That facility also went into lockout.
