11 finalists in 43 North competition compete for $1 million

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Some of the brightest minds in western New York and the world are competing to help get their companies off the ground, and the competition is at its fiercest.
Only 11 competitors remain in the 43 North start-up competition. Each company is battling to win a grand prize of $1 million, however as reward for being selected as finalists, 43 North guaranteed each finalist $250,000.
