Suffolk hires longtime GE exec as CFO

Suffolk Construction has hired Puneet Mahajan, a 20-year veteran of Boston-based General Electric Co., as its chief financial officer, and Lea Stendahl, former chief marketing officer for E*Trade, as its chief marketing officer.Mahajan joined GE (NYSE: GE) in 1998 and was most recently vice president of financial planning and analysis.
