Woodlawn Middle to open gym as supply distribution point

BATON ROUGE - Volunteer staff will open the gym of Woodlawn Middle School on Thursday morning as a supply distribution point for victims of recent flooding.Volunteer staff there says the school’s gymnasium will be opened at 10 a.m. with cleaning supplies, toiletries and over necessities available for affected residents of the area. Brown bag lunches will also be available in addition to a hot meal around noon.The school is located at 14939 Tiger Bend Road.Permalink| Comments
