Woman dead after fire at Baton Rouge apartment complex

BATON ROUGE - One person is dead after a fire at a local apartment complex Wednesday night.The fire was reported around 5 p.m. in the 8300 block of Governor Drive. The St. George Fire Department confirmed that a woman was found unconscious at the scene. Firefighters performed CPR on the victim until EMS arrived, however she  was later pronounced dead.St. George Fire and the State Fire Marshal are both investigating the fire.Permalink| Comments
