Woman arrested after falsely accusing NFL referee of domestic abuse

THIBODAUX - The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a woman Tuesday after she falsely accused a man of domestic abuse.On June 29, 2017 Sandra Brooks, 49, filed a report alleging she was physically abused by Carl Johnson Sr., 57, and included an audio recording of an encounter with Johnson in February of 2017. Brooks also filed a similar report with Johnson's employer, the National Football League. Johnson is an NFL referee and a former vice president of officiating.&
