Woman arrested after confessing to starting house fire

BATON ROUGE – Police arrested a woman after she confessed to setting a home on fire.On Thursday around 10:30 a.m. a house fire was reported in the 700 block of Buchanan Street. The fire was processed by investigators and the cause was determined to be arson.
