Walker officials: I-12 design aggravated flooding in city

WALKER- The Walker City Council has agreed to retain a law firm to sue the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development over an alleged faulty design of the portion of Interstate 12 that runs on the south side of the city.The Advocate reports Mayor Rick Ramsey has claimed that the design of I-12 was a contributing factor to the floods that inundated much of Walker during the August flood.Ramsey said lawyers have already begun researching the issue of whether I-12's design crea
