UPDATE: Staring Lane speed limit increase delayed

BATON ROUGE - The East Baton Rouge DOTD now says the speed limit on Staring Lane between Highland Road and Perkins Road will still increase, just less.On July 10, signs will be posted upping the speed limit from 35 mph to 40 mph. In 2014, the speed limit was lowered after people complained that 40 mph was too fast.
