Suspect flees on foot after robbing Government St. store

BATON ROUGE - Police say one suspect fled on foot after robbing a dollar store on Government Street Saturday afternoon. According to Baton Rouge Police, the incident happened at 5652 Government Street around 6:54 p.m. Saturday. Details are limited at this time but police said the suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.BRPD did not say whether the suspect had a weapon.
