Substitute motion will delay relocation of Baton Rouge Zoo

BATON ROUGE - Officials voted not to immediately approve BREC's plans to move forward with plans to move the Baton Rouge Zoo.
On Thursday, a board of commissioners decided BREC Superintendent Carolyn McKnight would not immediately be given the authority to choose the new location for the zoo.
