Six arrested for smuggling drugs into Assumption Parish detention facility

NAPOLEONVILLE – The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office arrested six people accused of smuggling drugs into the Parish Detention Center.Sheriff's investigators initiated an investigation a few weeks ago after corrections employees reported suspicious activities outside of the facility.
