Several missing in Maryland apartment fire

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) - Fire officials say up to seven people are unaccounted for following a large fire and the partial collapse of an apartment building in Silver Spring, Maryland. Firefighters rushed to the scene just before midnight last night, and they had to rescue several people from upper floors of the building. Fire officials say some residents and bystanders reported hearing an explosion.Permalink| Comments
