School employee arrested after beating student with belt

BATON ROUGE – A school employee was arrested for cruelty to juvenile charges after beating a student with a belt.On Monday around 11 p.m., Baton Rouge Police officers responded to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in reference to a battery of a teenage boy that happened earlier in the day at a school on North Lobdell Boulevard.
