Prairieville man dies in LA 44 crash

PRAIRIEVILLE - State Troopers say a Prairieville man wasn’t wearing a seat belt after he died at the scene of a crash in Ascension Parish just after midnight Monday.47-year-old Bart Todd was traveling southbound on LA 44 when for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line into the northbound lane and ran off the roadway.
