Power back on in Plaquemine after planned power outages

IBERVILLE - The power is back on in Plaquemine after repairs to an Entergy substation were completed overnight.The power was expected to be out from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., but many residents saw unplanned outages in advance of the planned work due to severe weather earlier in the day.Before the weather rolled in, Plaquemine residents said they were prepared for the "Plaq-Out.""I'm going to just cool my house down as much as possible before 11:00," one resident said."It will be hot," another acknowle
