Multiple agencies capture kidnapping, rape suspect

ALEXANDRIA-Officers from the Alexandria Police Department were called to an area hospital on Nov. 1 in reference to a rape investigation.The victim told authorities she had been sexually assaulted in her home and forced to stay with the suspect.The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Edward Williams.Williams allegedly forced the victim into the trunk of a car. The victim said Williams beat her before driving her to another location. The victim told authorities she was eventually able to escap
